OUR MISSION

It is our mission to share the joy of dance and circus in a healthy and inspiring environment.

Artists’ Play is a performing arts school in the heart of Leslieville that provides enriching dance & circus experiences for all ages. Recreational and competitive classes are offered for children, youth and adults. We offer professional-level instruction in a joyful and creative atmosphere.

Our foundation is built from providing a safe and inclusive environment where students and performing artists can thrive. With a focus on technique, strength, flexibility, creativity and artistry, our classes are tailored to each age group, skill level and age.

Whether you are a budding little ballerina, hip hop dancer, little circus star, or if you are dreaming of making this your career, we’ve got you. Intermediate and advanced aerial technique and performance classes are available for the serious students.

Artists’ Play also hosts and facilitates the training and performances of professional dance and circus artists from around the world and from Toronto, hosting companies and instructors for workshops and rehearsals.

In addition to the teachings of aerial arts and dance, Artists’ Play offers events and performances by our Youth Company as well as spectacular productions and performances by our professional company Skydance Entertainment.

Artists’ Play is proud to work alongside Arts Access Fund in making performing arts more accessible to young people.

The Arts Access Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to providing high quality arts training to young people, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to pursue artistic excellence under the guidance of professional artists.
