Adults and children’s classes are fun and challenging. Camp options are also great for summer, March break, etc. My daughter enjoys them.

The owner has a passion for giving kids amazing and unique arts experiences - they have numerous dance classes but also run events and circus performances. It’s really a one of a kind dance school. My daughter loves the silks classes and the teachers and all friendly and fun.

Great customer service in the planning/lead-up and FANTASTIC staff on the day of the event. Our instructor Emma was so great with the kids, teaching them cool tricks on the “silks” as part of the Circus training. Was so patient and helpful, and so accommodating when the pizza we ordered arrived late - she was cool as a cucumber and just kept the kids entertained a little longer. The assistant teacher Elisia was also so awesome - welcomed us, helped with set-up and clean-up and was so sweet with the kids. Excellent facility, easy to find/park, and just an all around awesome time. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return with some of my own pals sometime!

It is such a supportive community, and the staff is just so amazing that my child is so excited to go every single time. Aside from lesson, you can have children’s birthday parties there too!

OUR MISSION

It is our mission to share the joy of dance and circus in a healthy and inspiring environment.

Artists’ Play is a performing arts school in the heart of Leslieville that provides enriching dance & circus experiences for all ages. Recreational and competitive classes are offered for children, youth and adults. We offer professional-level instruction in a joyful and creative atmosphere.

Our foundation is built from providing a safe and inclusive environment where students and performing artists can thrive. With a focus on technique, strength, flexibility, creativity and artistry, our classes are tailored to each age group, skill level and age.

Whether you are a budding little ballerina, hip hop dancer, little circus star, or if you are dreaming of making this your career, we’ve got you. Intermediate and advanced aerial technique and performance classes are available for the serious students.

Artists’ Play also hosts and facilitates the training and performances of professional dance and circus artists from around the world and from Toronto, hosting companies and instructors for workshops and rehearsals.

In addition to the teachings of aerial arts and dance, Artists’ Play offers events and performances by our Youth Company as well as spectacular productions and performances by our professional company Skydance Entertainment.

Artists’ Play is proud to work alongside Arts Access Fund in making performing arts more accessible to young people.

The Arts Access Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to providing high quality arts training to young people, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to pursue artistic excellence under the guidance of professional artists.
