Performers:
MUTT
Mutt is Toronto’s most unique improv troupe. Comprised of improvisers who are racially, physically and socially diverse, Mutt adheres to the belief that comedy can be done by people of all shapes, colours, and sizes; not just white dudes without disabilities.
Using a variety of audience suggestions and armed with a troupe-wide focus for each show, we create a montage of scenes in which interesting and diverse characters are forced to recon with issues that we face as a society.
Jason Vanstone and Elizabeth Dawn Snell
Dancers without fear or boundaries explore intensity in play.
Jason and Elizabeth both currently dance with DLNW dance company and explore many collaborations with Artists’ Play Collective.
Michael Kelly
Michael is an independent, acoustic alt.pop artist based in Toronto, Ontario. After writing songs and playing guitar for many years, Michael finally emerged onto the Toronto music scene in 2004. He cut his performing teeth on the open stage circuit, and soon after started playing his own shows. H is sound represents a distinct expression of alt.pop sensibilities: melodic and passionate songwriting; a powerful singing voice; solid, intense
guitar-playing; and a raw, stripped-down acoustic format
“Meet some real characters!”
Jack Cunningham

On November 19 th , 2005 Jack is introducing two of his characters.
Liberaca in the first half of the show and Pearl in the second, eat your heart out Dame Edna!
Clara Engel
Local toronto musician/poet/brilliant enigma of raw soul” Clara Engel writes music that defies genre. Elements of blues, cabaret, and folk can all be detected in her sound. Live, she has the ability to transform the audience. She is an intuitive composer of haunting tone-poetry, an expressionistic guitarist, and a powerful vocalist. She has released a four song e.p. and is preparing to record a full length album.
Clara Engel is 22 and lives and goes to school in Toronto, Ontario.
Show ‘N’ Prov
Show ‘n’ Prov, Toronto’s urban comedy crew, is a unique assortment of badly behaved women with remarkable wit and insight. Performing at Tim Sims Playhouse quarterly since 1999, the ever-changing troupe is unstoppable in their resolve to rouse guilty laughter at somber realities. The ladies (and occasional gentlemen) have been known to take cracks at date rape, homelessness, drug abuse, eating disorders, health care cuts, nuclear arms race, and sometimes even the heavy stuff.
