Artists’ Play…a Cabaret!
Hosted by Belladonna and The Awakening
Performers:
Billy Pepper
From Smiths Falls, Ontario he was classically trained at eight years old. Billy started performing in halls to audiences over 200 people at 15 years of age. The lead guitarist for the band “Deep Fried”, they played to over 1000 of their fans last summer and are looking forward to a similar event this summer. Having been in Toronto for 2 years he is happy to have discovered the Artists’ Play. He will be playing his own original works with classical guitar and will be joined by some of the resident performers of Artist’s Play. Billy is a versatile musician and has over 25 years of playing experience.
Trevor Jones
“The Electric Minstrel” He will soothe your soul and get you grooving with his powerful voice! Trevor Jones is sure to be joined by the dancers of Artists’ Play.
Jack Cunningham
Are you ready to submit to Mistress Orphea: Keeper of the Hounds? Or are you content to observe as she tells of lost love and betrayal by her slave Uri?
“Jack Cunningham has been striking at our emotions and our preconceived notions (of gender and sexual identity) with his drastically different characters which he presents each month. Working on a full show for the Toronto Fringe Festival, we are having the pleasure of being introduced to these lovely, funny and truthful characters one by one”. Elizabeth Dawn Snell, Curator, Artists Play
Reverand T
Reverand T is a very controversial minister of the First Universal Church Of Me (FUCOM) Who preaches, sings and dances his way into people’s hearts, bringing light and hope in these dark times of religious oppression. He will perform an unforgetable service to all those in attendance, enlightenment gauranteed.
Katie Skene
Born in Owen Sound, Ontario and raised in Colpoy’s Bay, which is about five minutes north of Wiarton in Northern Ontario, she has always enjoyed performing in plays and her own spoken word pieces.
She has kept a journal since she was fourteen and started performing at a coffee house in grade ten at Wiarton High School.
Currently Katie is in her second year at the Ontario College of Art and Design for fine art photography.
I do hope you join us for our Artists’ Playground after the show!
