What do we search for?

I realize this is a very broad question, but what I am asking is that in times of suffering, instability and loss, what do we search for?

Joy? Laughter? Enlightenment?

We all strive to do the very best in what we do.  It keeps us going and driven to complete tasks.  What happens when we lose the task?

We all dance everyday and find fullfillment in movement.  Yes, everyone dances, everyday, the variance is in the range of movement!

Let me know what you think!  I would love to hear your opinion!

Cheers,
Elizabeth

ohh la la lulu!

This morning I had an opportunity to strike a jazzy pose directly following a great modern class at 509 Dance Collective!

Why, you ask.  Well, I mean it wasn't as if I couldn't.  The very thought of getting my picture taken with a celebrity from "So You Think You can dance canada" sent my fingers spreading into jazz hands and my body into a very linear sassy pose!

So, my dear friends, when you are watching and you see some modern dancers sweating it up in a class for probably 3 to 5 seconds of air time, just look for a few of us, instructor Tanya Crowder with many students including Jason Vanstone, Andrea Nunn and myself.

Let me know if you see it!

Keep happy, see you soon,

Elizabeth Dawn Snell

Back into Improvising!!

Into Fall

A great summer brings an exciting fall! First off, you can catch us again at the Vegetarian Food Festival on Septmeber 6th, 2008. Part of the cast will be performing excerpts from the fringe performance.

Excitement

Here we are, moving forward towards the light…bright lights at Theatre Passe Muraille in July.

The audition brought us Tyler Webb who is a great addition to Artists’ Play, with his immediate collaboration and fantastic attitude, he fit right in! Of course we have the originals of Artists’ Play,
